ARMY STEM WORKSHOP
Stanchester Year 9 pupils were given the opportunity to take part in the Army run STEM workshop. A nationwide programme, it allows students to develop STEM skills in programming, maths, technology and engineering. Life skills in teamwork, leadership, critical thinking and perseverance. It also educates students in careers in the Army’s engineers, medics and logisticians.
Students learnt how to build, programme and operate a LEGO mind-storm robot. They then used their skills to undertake a series of engineering and logistical challenges whilst working as a team. BritishArmy #ArmySTEM

Open Evening 2022
Open Evening for transition students. Departments organised various activities and displays for students to watch and take part in. Members of staff were on hand to answer any questions.

Performance and Music
Our school production for 2022-23 was Shrek and what a show it was. Our very talented fairy tale creatures excelled themselves in their roles in acting, whilst others assisted with music and behind the scenes. It was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience over three nights.
