The aims of Religious Education at Stanchester Academy can be divided into three:

Main Aim: To enable students to gain knowledge and understanding of the six major world religions and worldviews which will provide successful KS5 and HE progressions.

Instrumental Aim: To promote understanding of and respect for people whose cultures and beliefs are different from one’s own and to promote positive attitudes towards living in a plural society.

Consequential Aim: Promote personal, moral and spiritual development of students.
